Hey, I’m Dan.

I’m a small business owner, community organizer, and lifelong resident of Clayton. My wife, Miranda, and I run Odd One Out, our little downtown shop full of quirky gifts and local finds. I also run Barbour Shop Creative, a design studio where I’ve had the chance to help businesses and organizations tell their stories and grow.

Over the years, I’ve worked to bring people together through events like Last Friday in Clayton and by staying involved in downtown development. I’ve seen firsthand how much potential our town has, and how much stronger we are when local businesses and residents have a real voice in the decisions being made.

I’m running for Town Council because I want to bring that same energy, creativity, and accountability to local government. My focus is on supporting small businesses, cutting wasteful spending, and building a stronger community for everyone who calls Clayton home.

I want this campaign to be about listening as much as it is about leading. If you have questions, ideas, or concerns about Clayton’s future, I’d love to hear from you. Use this form or email me directly at Dan@BarbourShopCreative.com, and let’s start a conversation about how we can make our community stronger together.
